The 3rd Asia Pacific Congress on
Craniofacial Surgery and
Distraction Osteogenesis
The 2007 Program Committee invites the submission of abstracts for the
Scientific Program at the 3rd Asia Pacific Congress on Craniofacial Surgery and
Distraction Osteogenesis to be held at the Bandos Island Resort, Republic of
Maldives. The theme of this meeting is CURRENT TECHNIQUES AND
FUTURE DIRECTIONS!! We encourage submissions emphasizing on long
term results and complications encountered in craniofacial surgery and
distraction, augmentation techniques, Biomaterials, New innovations in
devices/ techniques and usage of BMP. Reports of basic research or
clinical/outcome studies in the area of distraction osteogenesis and other
craniofacial deformities/surgeries are also solicited.
The scientific sessions begins on 1st of May 2007 and runs through
late noon on 4th May. The meeting will be preceded by a 2 day
Pre-conference live/video surgical demonstrations, beginning 29th of April.
There will be hands-on and limited attendance clinics too for beginners.
The early bird registration deadline is on 15th November 2006, but don’t

approved as part of the RACS CPD (Royal Australasian College of
Surgeons Continuing Professional Development Program). Fellows
who participate can claim 5 points per hour in Category 4 for
participation in the pre-conference surgical workshop, and 1
Credit point per hour participation in the Scientific Program.
