مجال مكافحة العدوى ضمن برنامج التعليم المستمر
للنقابة لعام 2011 وذلك في يوم الجمعة المصادف
30-9-2011 في مقر النقابة الكائن في المنصورر
القاها مجموعة من اطباء الاسنان الاختصاصيين(د.اياد
مؤيد-د.مروان
زياد
-د.احمد الجاف-د. علي هاني) وكذلك شارك الدكتور قتيبة
بشرح اهمية التطور التجاري في مكافحة العدوى, وكذلك
حضرها كل من الدكتور اياد والدكتور نبيل المسؤولين في
قسم صحة الفم في وزارة الصحة واثنوا على جهود النقابة
في اقامة مثل هذه المحاضرات العلمية ودعم مسيرة التطور
العلمي في البلد وخاصة مشروع الدبلوم المهني لزراعة
الاسنان الذي يعتبر الاول من نوعه في القطر وابدوا
استعداد قسم صحة الفم في وزارة الصحة لدعم اي مشروع
نقابي يرتقي بمهنة طب الاسنان في العراق لتواكب تطور
طب الاسنان في العالم ودعم برنامج التعليم المستمر
الذي سيعتمد في تقييم طبيب الاسنان في مجال العمل
الخاص.كما وسيمنح المشاركون شهادة تأييد الاشتراك
بالمحاضرة.

The clinical steps of infection control in dental
office
You will receive 0.5 unit(s) per hour of continuing
education credit upon completion of this course. The
course is for free.
Description:
The term of infection
control in which all human blood and certain human
body fluids(saliva in dentistry) are treated as if
known to be infectious for HIV, HBV, and other blood
borne pathogens.
In a dental clinic, the patient’s saliva, dental
plaque, blood, pus, and crevicular fluid are
aerosolized and spattered. Microorganisms are always
mixed with these body materials and they cause
infectious and transmissible diseases, the most
common of which are common cold, pneumonia, TB,
herpes, hepatitis, and AIDS.
Dental team members can learn how to protect
themselves from exposure to potentially infectious
agents in the dental office. This course shows ways
to reduce risk of acquiring a infectious disease
through occupational exposure by understanding and
using immunization, adherence to standard
precautions, and disinfection and sterilization.

Abstract:
This course shows how to protect from infectious
exposure in the dental office. It explains several
ways to reduce the risk of acquiring a bloodborne
disease through occupational exposure including
disinfection and sterilization and the control and
prevention of exposure to chemicals, instructions on
how to avoid infection in the dental clinic, and
instructions on how to clean, sterilize, and
disinfect potentially infectious items and how to
monitor the sterilization processes.
